To compile the ranking, U.S. News used an independent, objective rating system that collected more than 440 user surveys about 25 meal services for criteria that included:

Diet-to-Go has more than 500 meals to choose from — all controlled for sodium, carbs, cholesterol, and fat to make them heart-healthy. Its five menus are:

Keto-Carb30: This meal plan offers various meals that follow a classic, Atkins-style, carb-restricted menu, including an average of just 30 net carbs per day.
Vegetarian: This menu offers a vegetarian version of the classic Balance menu.
Mediterranean: This menu includes whole foods that align with a Mediterranean-style eating plan and aims to help people say goodbye to “dieting” and learn how to enjoy wholesome, healthy food as a lifestyle choice.
“Our research showed that Diet-to-Go was particularly popular among those who enjoy Mediterranean or vegetarian fare, as well as those who followed a diabetes-specific and keto diet,” U.S. News and World Report wrote.
