  1. Pinterest Top 10 - Week of Feb. 11

From healthy eating, to fun fitness routines, to motivation you won't find anywhere else, we want to share some pins we love. Each week, we will select the Pinterest top 10 pins of the week and share them, from our hearts to yours.

    1. Healthy Snacks

It’s hard to find delicious AND nutritious snacks under 100 calories, which is why this list is so great. It combines some of the healthiest food groups to make a delicious board of snack guidelines that you can put together to feel satisfied and full until your next meal. For more healthy snack ideas, check out our Healthy Snacks Board

    2. Healthy Recipe

We all have had that moment at a restaurant. You order the burger, and it automatically comes with a side of fries. But then you start to wrestle with yourself in your head. Should you substitute for a side salad or bowl of fruit? Perhaps it would be better just to make some fries at home. If you love the deliciousness of those fried strips of potato but not all the artery-clogging calories, then perhaps you should give this recipe a try instead. For more healthy recipes, check out our Recipe Board.

    3. Food Fun

Many of us know that peanut butter goes well on all sorts of things – sandwiches, crackers, with chocolate and especially on fruit. But did you know that just two tablespoons of peanut butter packs up to 200 calories? Most people use 3-4 when adding the peanut butter onto fruit. That’s why this fun tip is the perfect solution to getting to indulge in your favorite snack while keeping calories lower. Pretty clever. For more fun food options, check out our Food Fun Board.

    4. Food Humor

Yep. They are terrible for you, yet work well to hold a flame. Who knew? For more food humor, check out our Food Humor Board.

    5. Random Goodness

When a day just goes utterly wrong – you know, you wake up late, spill coffee on your shirt getting out of the car, etc. – it can feel like the world is caving in on you. But it’s not. It’s important to remember that a bad day does not equate a bad life. Just remember tomorrow will come, and it will get better. For more random goodness, check out our Random Goodness Board.

    6. Health Information

For people who struggle with a tobacco addiction, it can be extremely tough to stop smoking, especially if they don’t have support they need. This infographic does an excellent job of breaking down some troubling statistics about smoking and the need for states to invest in aid programs. For further health information we love, check out our Health Information Board.

    7. Fitness Routine

You don’t need gym equipment to do a workout. Here are some simple exercises you can do to take care of all the different muscle groups. Do this four times a week, and you’re sure to see some serious results. For more fitness routines, check out our Fitness Board.

    8. Fitness Information

If you want to give yourself some fun incentive to get your workouts done, gather up some popsicle sticks and empty jars and create these fun fitness sticks to keep track of what exercises you’re doing and when you’re doing them. It’s a great way to use arts-and-crafts to motivate yourself. For further fitness information, check out our Fitness Board.

    9. Motivation

Excuses build up and build up. They eat away at our motivation and take you far away from your goals. But if you find something in your life that’s important enough to you, you’ll move put your excuses behind you and just get up and do it. For further motivation, check out our Motivational Board.

    10. Nutritional Information

Here’s a pretty interesting graph to give you an idea on what the average American (who has a BMI in the overweight category) consumes every year. Most nutritionists recommend that a properly balanced plate should contain half vegetables and a quarter each of lean protein and a starch or carbohydrate. Clearly, we’re eating too much dairy, sugar and wheat, and not enough fruits and vegetables. For more nutritional information we love, check out our Nutritional Information Board.
