Doing things I couldn’t do before...

One of my biggest joys of having lost over 100 pounds are the doors opened to me. I have wanted to paddle board and jet ski for years, but was afraid to inquire about weight restrictions. I can now say I have successfully done both!

    Finding inner determination...

I have developed enough strength that I was able to paddle board for an hour. It wasn’t easy, and I fell three times before finding my balance, but I was determined to be successful. It reminded me of previous attempts to lose weight.

If I ‘fell’, I often did not have the stamina or will to try again. I have fallen a few times in my recent attempt to lose weight, but the phenomenal opportunities and experiences I’ve had as I become and stay healthy help to sustain my efforts.

I felt so strong on that paddle board, and flying through the Chesapeake Bay on a jet ski is an experience I couldn’t even imagine a year ago. Now, I can only imagine what is next.
